I hope everyone in the Eagle World has enjoyed their spring break. The football program is starting to gain momentum as we are entering the fourth quarter of the school year. Here is a list of planned activities over the next few months.
EAGLE SPRING CAMP SERIES: March
March 20, 2009
6:00-8:00PM
AT & T Sports Pavilion
Registration starts at 5:45
This camp will review offensive fundamentals and introduce players to the necessary defensive skills to play Eagle D. The camp is free with a completed registration form and grade check sheet.
EAGLE SPRING CAMP SERIES: April
Date TBA
West High School
This camp will be split into both an offensive and defensive session. This will be a great chance to get familiar with the Eagle Football prior to the Eagle Spring Training Camp. This camp will be free with a completed registration form and grade check sheet. If a student has an "F" in a class, they must be enrolled in an after school tutoring program in order to participate in this camp.
EAGLE SPRING TRAINING CAMP
May 11-15
West High School
This week long camp will introduce all prospective Eagle Football players to the Eagle Football Program. The camp will run in a similar fashion to that of fall practice. This open-to-the-community camp is a great opportunity to get a taste of what the new Eagle football program is all about. Check back to the blog as May approaches for more details.
CIFC PASSING LEAGUE
Starting in June
Dimond High School
This league will be a great opportunity for players to get a chance to both learn the offensive passing system while competing against other Cook Inlet Conference rivals. It should be a great opportunity for all Anchorage football players to improve their skills.
ALL-ALASKA FOOTBALL CAMP
June 21-24
Colony High School
This camp is a great opportunity for the program to both grow as a team and receive instruction from a large selection of college coaches. This is a great chance for players to get introduced to prospective future college coaches. Check out their website for more details.
